About Saigon University

Saigon University is a state educational institution under the supervision of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and the educational administration of the Ministry of Education and Training. 

Today, the educational scale of the Saigon University has more than 16,000 full-time students and more than 1000 graduate students studying and researching in 35 undergraduate training programs, 12 graduate training programs and 04 doctoral training programs in the fields of economics, engineering and technology, natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, politics, art, law and pedagogy.

Following the renovation and development of the city, Saigon University carries the mission of training and providing Ho Chi Minh City with high-quality human resources for regional and national integration, which meet the requirements of socio-economic development of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country.

With the desire to improve the quality of education and training to keep pace with the constantly changing trend of the city, the whole country and the world, Saigon University focuses on expanding cooperation with countries in many directions such as joint training, scientific research cooperation, academic exchange and so on.
