Overview

UNDERGRADUATE ADVANCED PROGRAM IN WATER RESOURCES ENGINEERING

(In cooperation with Colorado State University, USA, study in English)

OBJECTIVES

Training engineers with intensive knowledge of water resources engineering, fluent in English under the training model of Colorado State University, USA.

Meeting high quality human resources for domestic and international labor markets.

LABOR NEEDS

Currently, hundreds of water resources management and exploitation companies, state management agencies, research institutes, consultation companies, enterprises and international organizations in the field of Construction, Hydraulic Structures Engineering and Environment wish to recruit engineers on Water Resources Engineering.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Working in international organizations, consultant companies, research institutes, construction corporations or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) related to the fields of Construction, Environment, Transportation, Hydraulic Structures Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc.

Taking postgraduate courses such as Master and Ph.D levels at Colorado State University, USA in other prestigious universities in the world especially ASEAN, Asia, Europe, Australia and USA.

OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDY ABROAD

Excellent and qualified students have the opportunity to study and receive bachelor degrees by Colorado State University, USA with model of 2+N;  accordingly, the first 2 years of study at Thuyloi University; the remaining time of study at Colorado State University.

Students have the opportunity to receive scholarships under Student Exchange Program – AIMS for studying 1 or 2 semesters at some universities of Canada, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.

EDUCATION PROGRAM

Study duration is 4.5 years with 155 credits.

Specialized training: Water resources engineering (Planning, Design and Management of Water Resources Systems; Water Supply and Drainage; Environment).

Content of the program is originally based on the curricula (Civil Engineering) of Colorado State University (USA) and is taught entirely in English.

The program has been granted an international accreditation certificate by AUN (The Network of Universities of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations - ASEAN).
